Start with a small selection
Rondli is useful when you want to revisit specific Shorts rather than scroll through a recommendation feed. You can add public Shorts links to a personal queue and save that queue as a list. You decide which creators and videos belong together.
Build your Shorts queue
- Choose Add a link and paste a public
youtube.com/shorts/…link. - Add another link, or add a channel to retrieve the uploads available from the current source.
- Choose Shorts in the content filter for your personal queue. Use All to combine Shorts with longer videos.
- Start playback. Enable Repeat whole queue if you want another round after the selection finishes.
Check what was actually imported
A channel import is not a guarantee that every historical upload has been retrieved. Look at the import result and the number of available items. If a Short is missing, add its direct public link. Classification from channel sources can be incomplete, so the Shorts filter is a useful selection tool rather than an official count of a creator’s entire Shorts catalogue.
Keep a list for each purpose
Use one list for language listening, another for short explanations, or a list of favourite creators. Save timestamp notes for moments you want to revisit. Export a backup before moving browsers or clearing browser storage.
Sharing a list creates a copy of that selection. It does not publish the rest of your library. Device pairing is a different feature for manually synchronising your encrypted library.
Shorts filters and playlists are different
The Videos, Shorts and All filters apply to Rondli’s personal queue. A native YouTube playlist plays inside YouTube and is not filtered this way. If you need precise control over which Shorts play, add the individual Shorts links to your own queue.
Playback requirements
A public Short must permit embedded playback. Keep your device online and leave the player visible. Start with a tap or click; background playback and playback with the screen locked are not promised. Rondli does not remove YouTube ads or download videos.
