Open the website first
Visit Rondli in a current browser on Android, iPhone, Windows, macOS or Linux. You do not need a Rondli account to create personal lists. Begin with a public YouTube video link or playlist, then tap Start. Embedded YouTube playback still follows YouTube’s availability rules.
Install the web app when supported
- Open the player and select Install app.
- Follow the instructions for your browser. On iPhone or iPad, the browser’s Share menu may offer Add to Home Screen.
- Open the Rondli icon to return to the app.
A progressive web app (PWA) is a website that can open like an app. Installation does not make YouTube videos available offline and does not unlock background playback. The installation option varies by browser and device.
Keep playback visible
Leave the player on screen during a session. Screen locking, switching apps, a sleeping computer or battery saving can stop playback. Where supported, the keep-screen-awake option can help while Rondli remains visible, but browser and device restrictions still apply.
Day, night and system appearance let you choose a comfortable view. The interface can follow your browser language, or you can choose a language manually.
Your lists belong to this browser
Lists and progress are kept in browser storage. Another browser or another device starts with its own storage. Clearing site data or using a private browsing session can remove saved information. Export a backup from Manage lists if you want a file you can keep.
Move a library to another device
- On the first device, open Library and Connect devices.
- Create a private pairing code. Keep it private.
- On the second device, open Rondli and enter that code in Connect devices.
- Use the synchronisation controls when you want to exchange changes.
The library is encrypted before it leaves the browser. Synchronisation is initiated by you; this is not a casting or remote-control feature for a television. Exporting and importing a backup is another option.
Automatic channel checks
You can enable checks at 6, 12 or 24-hour intervals for your channels. These checks need the page to remain open and the browser to run it. They are not guaranteed to run after closing the site or while the phone suspends the tab. Turn them off whenever you do not want checks.
